But in reality, in our ward, where the bishop has no back bone, things slip through the cracks. My wife was the Primary President and I was the Ward Clerk. We both went to the bishop with stories from other members regarding child abuse by one of the male members of our ward. Nothing was done. I nagged the bishoo. Nothing was done. This man who obviuosly had abused his wife and children andd reportedly has a porn addiction was later called to be a leader in the scout program. This, unfortunately, is our helpless reality.
